One of the areas that ITS Canada is continually striving to strengthen is
service to our members. We want you to truly believe that your
membership dues are an investment, not an obligation, and that what you
get out of your membership far exceeds the cash (and in many cases
time) that you put in.
Over the past year, we have focused the industry opportunities we send to
you, tightened the newsletter to make it a timelier, more responsive and
relevant piece of information, and expanded our Annual Conference and
General Meeting to strengthen the technical program. Our Membership
Services Committee is now reviewing our membership fee structure,
again, to examine any changes necessary to meet a changing
environment. Finally, your Board of Directors met in a full-day session
October 15th to embark on a renewal of the Strategic Plan for ITS Canada.
Our Chair, Mike Bailey, will have something to say about that in next
month’s issue, fitting as it is for the New Year.
